Dr. Michaels relocated from Nevada where she has served as a board-certified Mohs surgeon and dermatologist specializing in medical and surgical dermatology for the past 14 years with West Dermatology.

Dr. Michaels is a firm believer that each patient’s healthy skin is a glow from within, Dr. Michaels is determinedly focused on the overall well-being of her patients, and effectively cultivates a supportive and friendly environment where patients can feel comfortable and confident with the care they receive.
 
As an undergraduate, Dr. Michaels attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, before earning her DO from Pikeville University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY.

During Dr. Michaels professional career, she has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and served as the faculty supervisor in the family medicine residency program at Valley Hospital Medical Center. Additionally, she has published several peer-reviewed dermatology journals and is an editorial advisor for the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology.
