Rebecca is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from University of Rochester with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health, as well as Nursing. As a Nurse she was trained to scrub in on all surgical services, most notably she enjoyed her time working in plastic surgery, reconstructive ENT (Ears, Nose and Throat), and cardiothoracic surgery. Her interest in dermatology was first sparked during her time working in acute care and surgery, as her patients exhibited a myriad of dermatological conditions associated with acute and chronic illness. 

She then completed her FNP degree at University of Massachusetts. She went on to be a cardiology Nurse Practitioner, as well as a Nurse in Mohs Dermatology Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. Her time working in Mohs Dermatology Surgery confirmed her enthusiasm for dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
She then re-located on the Big Island of Hawaii where she practiced as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner in Hilo and Waimea, training and working with our esteemed Aspire All-Star Amylynne Frankel, MD.
She joins our team with 16 years of experience working in the field of medicine. She’s thrilled to be back in New England to serve the Rhode Island community.
