Brent D. Michaels, DO, FAOCD, is a board-certified dermatologist Dermatologic and Mohs Surgeon at Aspire Dermatology.

Dr. Michaels completed his undergraduate training at the University of Nevada in Reno. He also obtained a law degree and practiced in Las Vegas as a Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office. Following his career in law, Dr. Michaels completed medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Vegas. He followed with an internship and dermatology residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Michaels has published articles in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of Drugs and Dermatology, Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, Cutis, and Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. He was a resident co-contributor on the editorial board for The Year Book of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and a contributing author for the Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy textbook.
