NEW DERMATOLOGY PRACTICE WITH COMPLIMENT OF COSMETIC SERVICES OPENS IN EAST PROVIDENCE

(East Providence, RI) - Aspire Dermatology will open in the Barrington Medical Center at 1525 Wampanoag Trail, Suite 203 East Providence, RI 02915 this September.

Dr. Jason Michaels, a board-certified dermatologist, relocated his practice here from Las Vegas to give his family access to better schools and a greater sense of community.

He brings with him over a decade of experience combining dermatology with cosmetic services. Aspire Dermatology offers treatment for everything relating to the skin: ranging from acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and suspect moles to Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Dr. Michaels also specializes in cosmetic dermatology and is considered a thought-leader by his peers, being published and speaking internationally on techniques and trends. Cosmetic treatments are available at Aspire to compliment the dermatology evaluation, addressing aging, sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles and saggy eyelids.

"I am so excited to be back on the East Coast," noted Dr. Michaels, who spent part of his medical training here at Brown University. "My wife and I made the decision to move the practice so I could have a better balance of work and family."

The area will benefit from another dermatology practice. With the retirement of Dr. Herstoff, and few board-certified dermatologists on the East Bay, Dr. Michaels will be a great compliment to the current base of physicians in Rhode Island.
