Restylane is Dr. Michaels filler of choice for many areas because of its unique physical properties. It provides a natural look, does an excellent job of lifting the skin, and when injected by experienced hands like Dr. Michaels, has a very natural feel in the skin. Restylane address mild to moderate facial lines and wrinkles and restores volume to the face. It is particularly good product in the lips, nasolabial folds, and underneath the eyes (hollowing). It is also an excellent product for sculpting certain areas, such as restoring a youthful look to earlobes, creating brow lifts, treating some types of acne scars, and recontouring the nose.

Dr. Michaels uses topical anesthetic cream for comfort to minimize the pinprick feeling of the injections. There is a possibility of bruising, swelling and/or tenderness in the area for approximately five days. Ice will help address swelling and cosmetics can conceal bruising if necessary. Two days of rest are recommended before returning to work.
